In connection with the implementation of Solrød Local Authority’s Heat Plan and the 2010-2025 Climate Plan for Solrød Local Authority, the possibility will be investigated of establishing a biogas facility based on residual products from CPKelco and Chr. Hansen, seaweed from beach cleaning in Køge Bay and animal manure from the agricultural sector. On this background, the Technical and Environmental Administration of Solrød Local Authority has applied for environmental authorisation for the Solrød Biogas Facility. The Ministry of the Environment granted the environmental authorisation.
