The establishment of Solrød Biogas A/S underpins Solrød Local Authority’s committed approach to the political climate and energy agenda. Solrød Local Authority has been granted status as a climate local authority, which commits the local authority to reducing its greenhouse gas emission by 70 % before 2030. Not only must the local authority work hard to achieve this goal; it also requires green thinking to be embedded in the minds of the citizens.
Solrød Biogas wants to contribute to this goal. We want to promote sustainable thinking – locally and nationally – and would be pleased to open our doors to the public. Do you represents a school wanting to visit Solrød Biogas? We offer various solutions, all contributing to your teaching and inspiring green and sustainable thinking.
Make an inspiration visit to Solrød Biogas where staff will guide you around the facility. You will also details about how the facility works and about the idea underlying a biogas facility. Also, students will participate actively in the actual production at the facility and produce their own biogas. Finally, students will be asked to solve various assignments.

Solrød Biogas would be pleased to welcome both private citizens and companies interested in seeing the inside of the facility. We organise guided tours and activities for groups (minimum 10 participants), and we plan the visit to suit your requirements and needs.
